What do you expect from your copywriter?

As you've probably found by now, copywriters in the UK fall into two different camps. Some just want to write copy to order (and good luck to them), while others get their fingers dirty...making sure the job is on the right track from the start.                             

If you're thinking of working with me, you should know I fall into the second camp. 

Before I'll put pen to paper, I'll be quizzing you over all sorts. Like business goals, customer insights, and lessons learned from old campaigns.

That's not because I'm yearning for my old days in Corporate Marketing... and not because I want to hijack your marketing department!

It's because Copywriting is Marketing, and it's part of my job to make sure your creative pieces are a full-on strategic fit.
